Neurologist - (Brain Injury Medicine pref) - Outpatient Setting - Dallas/San Antonio
A friendly, growth-oriented healthcare group proud to serve communities throughout Texas is looking to add 2 Neurologist to join their group.
We specialize in helping patients recover from injuries, including those sustained in auto accidents. By combining advanced treatment options with a compassionate approach, we guide our patients on the road to recovery, addressing their unique needs every step of the way. Whether it provides relief from pain or restoring mobility, we are here to help our patients reclaim their health and well-being.
● Conducting thorough neurological examinations and assessments with a focus on evidence-based care.
● Diagnosing and treating various brain injuries.
● Developing and implementing patient care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
● Prescribing medications and treatments.
● Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
● Documenting patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
● Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
● Communicating effectively with medical assistants and other support staff.
● Communicating clearly and effectively with patients.
● Educating patients about their medical conditions and treatment options.
● Providing empathetic and compassionate care.
● Adhering to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
● Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
● Actively licensed physician in good standing in the State of Texas.
● Board certification or eligible in Neurology with additional training or experience in Brain Injury Medicine.
● 2 years of practice experience is preferred but not required.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Current BLS certification, board certification, and DEA certification.
● Verbal and written Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
● Efficient time management in our busy clinics.
● Timely completion of notes/charting in the patient's medical record.
● Full adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations and ethical considerations of the practice of medicine.
