Job Description:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lead ET is required to lead and support all on-shift ETs, crews, and support personnel to resolve maintenance issues that negatively impact the ability of the plant to perform. This position leads trains, schedules, and stages materials/parts and equipment for ETs to perform maintenance tasks. Provides daily direction and coaching to ETs regarding problem solving, troubleshooting, PMs and project work assignments, and is the SPA for housekeeping, safety, quality, and performance by the ET group. Documents and provide project listings, develops priorities, manages deadlines and schedules, and assists ETs with issues or concerns. Provides updates on action plans, projects, and problem solving A3s. In addition, others in the specified Help Chain, must respond to onsite equipment problems in a timely manner. This position must troubleshoot and perform basic and advanced maintenance to production equipment, complete root cause investigations for complaints, interpret statistical data, and lead the repair efforts of the ET group. The candidate will be responsible for compiling and analyzing data to assist in determining appropriate countermeasures and solving problems to the root as appropriate, as well as assisting the team members in the development of standardized work. The candidate will work within the stated principles of ABS and help drive maintenance towards continuous improvement efforts through TPM.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily tasks and assignments of Day ET’s through Daily Work spreadsheet and/or face to face communication
2. Provide leadership and guidance for Day ET’s on projects
3. Become involved in Daily Management meetings
4. Assist Plant Electrical Safety designate in auditing and implementation of Electrical Safety Program
5. Recognize skill gaps of shift ET’s and develop training for closing those gaps
6. Maintain current role as SPA of inkjet promo process
7. Maintain current role as SPA of laser promo process
8. Become more active/involved and efficient in assigning and stocking new electrical spare parts
9. Support for Automation and Intravis
10. Communicate clearly in English both verbally and written
11. Wear appropriate required safety gear
12. Attend work regularly and reliably
13. Work flexible shifts and overtime as scheduled or directed.
14. Conformance to company performance rules such as work instructions, working standards, policies, etc.
15. Conformance to behavioral rules, expectations, and company policies.
16. Build, repair, modify electrical and or electronics in production machinery and new engineering projects related to equipment
17. Knowledge of electrical and electronic components commonly used in production machines and an expert knowledge of troubleshooting these components
18. Recommend minor changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance
19. Operate machine shop tools as necessary to fabricate non-procurable items such as coils, terminal boards, chassis, etc
20. Assist in writing operational manuals and procedures relating to the operation and maintenance of company equipment, electronically or electrically
21. Assist company technical personnel in any other manner agreeable to both parties
22. Assume back up role of company electrician, when needed, in building and grounds department
23. Visual attention to detail work
24. Ability to work with a positive attitude in a team environment
25. Demonstrate awareness of and compliance with all pertinent safety policies and procedures
26. Maintain a professional, clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:Educational and Other Skills Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Strong arithmetic and reading skills. Five to seven years in a maintenance role, preferably with experience in electrical maintenance. Formal training in Electricity is mandatory. This formal training can be either a minimum two-year degree from an accredited technical training institute, an apprenticeship training program, or demonstrated work in a strong mechanical role. Exposure to machines, processes, and duties in a school or work environment is necessary to demonstrate an increasing skill level and a willingness to accept responsibility. Will receive training in ABS and TPM leadership.
- Must be conscious and responsible regarding issues of safety and housekeeping.
- Must have maintenance aptitude to learn the technical processes of the closure production department and its related machinery, as well as troubleshoot problems and develop and perform solutions.
- Must be flexible and willing to adjust to an unpredictable schedule, particularly break periods, overtime, and training schedules.
- Must lead by example in all areas: procedures, policies, motivation, attitude, and in our ever-changing environment.

- Must have a basic understanding of the principals of electricity as related to the equipment of CSI.

- Must have the ability to problem solve at the line and in a team environment, and to drive problem solving and continuous improvement through others.
- Must have a working knowledge of computer skills to include NFI, Excel, and Word.
