Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Logistics Manager to oversee the entire supply chain management for our rapidly growing, vertically integrated cannabis clone company. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods, with the primary goal of enhancing business development, ensuring sustainability, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle
• Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse organization, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics, analyze data to assess performance, and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age of 21 years or older
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficiency in standard logistics, CRM software, and logistics software is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• BS in Business Administration or 2yrs experience in Logistics, or Supply Chain
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Previous agricultural experience in propagation and young plant experience preferred
• Normal, corrective vision range, color vision, and ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift
• Requires normal hearing range

Key Tasks

• Perform daily tasks in the nursery, including water management, pest and disease control, and, IPM program implementation
• Catalog and maintain organization of plants, tags, and pruning biomass
• Maintain and follow cultivation department policies and procedures
• Wash and sanitize all equipment, ensuring tools are free of pests, viruses, or diseases
• Adapt to various strains, styles, and types of cannabis; adjust techniques to maintain steady pace and quality
• Knowledge or experience with METRC compliance is a plus

Job Type and Schedule

• Monday – Friday 8am to 4 pm
• Full Time; 35-40 hours per week

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is: $19.00- $25.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

A bonus structure will be in place, with bonuses based on the length of time in the job, to reward commitment and accuracy to the role.
