Position Summary
The Cleveland Yachting Club is seeking responsible, attentive, and safety-focused Lifeguards to join our team for the upcoming season. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our members and their guests at the pool and waterfront areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor pool and waterfront areas to ensure the safety of all members and guests
- Enforce all club safety rules and regulations
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas
- Provide excellent, friendly service to members and guests
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard Certification (required)
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required)
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
- Ability to remain alert and professional at all times
- Prior lifeguarding experience preferred, but not required
Schedule & Availability
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Seasonal position with opportunities for additional hours during peak periods
