Purpose of Waterjet Set up & Operator Role:
The Waterjet Set up & Operator at The Cleveland Vibrator Company runs waterjet to make component parts for industrial vibrators and vibratory equipment to ensure we meet the revenue, quality, shipping and profitability goals of the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities are:
- Run waterjet ensuring all parts meet tight manufacturing requirements
- Prepare and upload files
- Handle raw material to set up in waterjet
- Maintain organization of work orders and inventory
- Load and unload deliveries
- Perform preventive maintenance on waterjet
- Replace worn parts on waterjet
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- High School, Vocational School, Technical School or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience with operation of CNC based machines
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring equipment
- Ability to safely load and unload raw material
- Possess general knowledge of machine shop equipment
- Proficient in operation of computer and Autocad
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
