What We Need:
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and focused individual to support critical functions of our shipping and receiving clerk. This individual, by nature, must be able to take direction well, work independently and be willing to jump in where needed and help others.
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company
- Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
- Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
- Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods

This is a full-time, 1st shift position with a regular work schedule of Monday through Friday from 730am to 330pm Overtime will be required based on business needs. Starting pay is based on experience. Higher pay depends on experience.
- Detailed Oriented
- Ability to sit or stand for entire 8-hour shift
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to read tape measure, calculate basic math functions including fractions
- Ability to often lift 50 pounds or more
- Proficient using power tools and small machinery
- Innovative thinker with problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Aptitude to learn new skills.
- Preferred to have at least 3-5 years of prior manufacturing experience
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- High School diploma/equivalent
