JOB REQUIREMENTS: Provides leadership in attracting, retaining, and
developing an engaged workforce in the delivery of superior services to
residents and families. Directs the work of and manages assigned staff
for activity services. Interviews and selects new employees. Provides
training, instructions, and ongoing training needs. Assigns tasks,
reviews work, and prepares performance evaluations. Provides staff
coaching/counseling. Recommends employee transfers, promotions,
disciplinary action, and discharge. Provides leadership and management
to all assigned staff. Audits work as needed to ensure adherence to
pertinent regulations. Administers and oversees all services and
operations assigned to Activity Services. Recommends, develops,
promotes, implements, and refines new and existing related programs.
Monitors the divisions services operations for efficient and effective
application of department policies, procedures, standards, and
compliance with county, state, and federal ordinances, statues, codes,
and regulations; directs staff on complex work and interpreting the
application of policies, procedures, and regulations. Researches,
recommends, develops, and implements policy and procedures for
operational effectiveness, sustainability, customer service,
collaboration, and safety. Provides leadership, develops work plans and
strategies to meet both short term and long-term operation\'s needs;
develops and directs the implementation of goals, objectives and work
standards to ensure success; ensures clear direction and proper
implementation. Leads public-facing communication effortsincluding radio
appearances, program announcements, community outreach, and oversight of
the organization\'s social media page. Develops and recommends annual
division budgets to the Executive Director/Administrator, forecasts
necessary funding for program needs, staff, and materials. Monitors
budget, contracts, services, and other factors to ensure compliance;
identifies problem areas and recommends refinements; authorizes
expenditures. Member of the Staff Morale Committee in planning and
implementing creative, meaningful events that enhance workplace culture
and promote positive staff morale. Manages all aspects of volunteer
coordination including recruiting, interviewing, and matching
volunteers, scheduling, outreach/marketing efforts, record-keeping, and
maintaining accurate training and hour logs while maintaining strong
community partnerships and clear communication Manages all aspects of
gift shop operations including inventory, ordering, and record-keeping
Oversees and leads community events to promote engagement and
visibility. Manages the beauty salon and staff, including supply
inventory and scheduling residents for services. Manages requests from
the Friends of Clearview Fund including organizing submissions,
processing approvals, and allocating funds. Collects activity staff
quality assurance reports, compiles findings for the QA Committee, and
follows up on identified issues or concerns. Responds to residents,
families, and the general public regarding complaints, questions,
requests for information, problem resolution, and customer service.
Completes MDS Assessments and creates a plan of care to ensure person
centered care for each resident. Other duties as assigned. \*\*\*\*\*
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet requirements of the Dodge
County Driver Qualification Policy. Three years\' previous supervisory
Experience Preferred. Must Successfully Pass Caregiver And Criminal
