Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
• Handle chemical agents safely, including mixing, applying, and disposing of floor cleaning chemicals, floor waxing products, and floor refinishing solutions
• Conduct floor scrubbing, buffing, polishing, and waxing to maintain pristine floor care across various surfaces such as tile, vinyl, carpet, and hardwood
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, extractors, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers to ensure efficient cleaning processes
• Engage in manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment and moving supplies safely according to proper procedures
• Perform detailed carpet cleaning and floor refinishing tasks to restore surfaces to their best condition
• Maintain a high standard of customer service by addressing client needs professionally and promptly while ensuring a clean environment

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings with knowledge of environmental services practices
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing floors
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and in compliance with safety regulations
• Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset

Pay: $24.05 - $28.97 per hour
