The Cleaning Company of NC (TCCNC) is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Airbnb Turnover Cleaners to join our growing team in the Charlotte, NC area.

We specialize in short-term rental (Airbnb) turnovers and are looking for independent contractors who are reliable, communicate promptly, manage their time well, and take pride in delivering consistent, guest-ready properties.

Compensation

Pay is per completed property or assigned portion, not hourly.

Property rates vary depending on the size and requirements of the assignment. The applicable rate will be communicated before you accept an assignment.

When multiple contractors are assigned to the same property, each contractor is paid based on their assigned portion.

Assignment opportunities are based on business needs, property requirements, availability, and performance. TCCNC does not guarantee a minimum number of assignments, hours, or earnings.

Evaluation Period

All new contractors begin with an evaluation period lasting up to two weeks.

During the evaluation period, you will complete actual property assignments and will be paid according to the applicable property or assigned-portion rate, not an hourly training rate.

You may be assigned a smaller property independently or a clearly defined portion of a larger property with another contractor.

During this period, TCCNC will evaluate quality, efficiency, attention to detail, required work photos, reliability, punctuality, communication, checklist/property-standard compliance, and your ability to complete the assigned scope.

Responsibilities

• Complete Airbnb/short-term rental turnover cleanings between guest stays.
• Follow TCCNC's cleaning checklists and property-specific standards.
• Clean and stage kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Complete laundry, stain removal, restocking, and final staging as required.
• Make beds and ensure all guest linens are clean, dry, stain-free, and properly presented.
• Inspect and report damages, missing items, maintenance concerns, and safety concerns.
• Take and submit required cleaning photos throughout the assignment.
• Complete any requested corrections identified during photo review or Quality Control.
• Communicate promptly with the TCCNC operations team through Connecteam.
• Complete the entire assigned scope and final walk-through before leaving the property.
• Ensure the property is fully guest-ready by the required completion time.

Typical short-term rental turnover work begins between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Unless a different deadline is communicated for a specific property, assigned work must be fully completed by 4:00 PM.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous residential, hotel, vacation rental, or Airbnb cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone with internet access and a working camera.
• Ability to use Connecteam for schedules, assignments, updates, and communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional, dependable, punctual, and responsive.
• Must provide and maintain your own professional cleaning supplies and equipment.
• A properly completed Form W-9 is required before your first paid property assignment.
• Required background check must be completed within 30 days of beginning the contractor relationship.
• Contractors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own liability insurance and providing proof of active coverage within 60 days of beginning the contractor relationship.

Scheduling & Communication

Connecteam is TCCNC's primary platform for schedules, property assignments, updates, and work-related communication.

Contractors are expected to keep Connecteam notifications on during their selected availability days, check their schedule daily, promptly acknowledge assignments, and monitor updates related to accepted assignments.

Payment Schedule

TCCNC's contractor work week runs Saturday through Friday.

Contractors submit their weekly Zelle payment request every Friday by 7:00 PM. Approved payments are issued through Zelle every Tuesday and are expected to be received no later than 2:00 PM.

New contractors work one full work week in arrears before receiving their first payment.
