Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed.
- Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely.
- Handle laundry tasks including washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and areas according to established protocols while adhering to safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage techniques.
- Strong understanding of cleaning surfaces, floor care, dusting, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work and manual handling tasks including heavy lifting.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Previous experience in outdoor work environments or residential housekeeping is a plus.
- You will be responsible for driving a crew come days in a company provided vehicle.
- Part time job that may progress to full time if interested.
