Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Handle specialized cleaning procedures such as pressure washing, floor care, and sanitation to ensure surfaces are hygienic and well-maintained.
• Conduct laundry services when required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Manage heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture or large items during cleaning operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance.
• Follow infection control procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination in sensitive environments such as healthcare facilities or food establishments.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously during service visits.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and use sanitation practices that meet health regulations.
• Support custodial responsibilities by maintaining storage areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care is advantageous.
• Experience with chemical handling and the use of various cleaning equipment is essential for safety and efficiency.
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely is required.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and sanitation procedures ensures safe practices across different environments.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
