Simsbury - MON-FRI, start time between 4:00-5:30pm. Approximately 3.5 hours per shift. Inquire for more info.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our cleaning team on a part-time basis. The Janitorial Cleaning Staff member will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position involves cleaning various areas within the facility, following sanitation protocols, and ensuring spaces are presentable and hygienic for guests, employees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces.
- Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas to maintain health and safety standards.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of protective equipment and cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must pass background check, speak good English, and have their own car.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Ideal candidates are customer service oriented and good with people.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning.
