Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on preventive care, and assisting in various dental procedures. Your expertise will help ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a friendly and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging systems.
• Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records within the Dentrix system.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and staff.
• Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

• A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
• Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in dental assisting being a plus.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental management software is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of general dentistry practices, along with experience in periodontics, is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment are essential.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
