Funded by a legislative appropriation to the State University of New York, Educational Opportunity Centers in New York City are administered by CUNY.
CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Bronx EOC is looking for an adjunct lecturer to teach allied health programs including, phlebotomy, EKG, PCT, Medical Assistant, CNA and HHA. The adjunct Lecturer is required to report attendance, monitor, and evaluates student progress, communicate with the counselor/case manager for the program and utilize technology in the classroom to deliver lessons.
Education
As a faculty member of a CUNY Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), performs teaching and related faculty functions in the area(s) of expertise as noted below. Lecturers:

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred with at least two years of experience teaching and working with adult students, including experience with instructional technology and/or distance learning. Experience assigning and facilitating work using computer-assisted instructional software will be a plus.
Compensation
Salary: $112.50 hourly.

- Teach Home Health Aide and/or Certified Nursing Assistant, and/or Medical Assistant, and/or Patient Care Technician courses, including Phlebotomy and EKG.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive clinical practice hands on skills to students.
- Prepare and deliver student lectures, keep attendance, and support a structured learning environment.
- Work with the student support care team to advise on student conduct and academic progress.
- Attend care team meetings.
- Participate in student advisement, curriculum development and related activities to advance the educational aims of the Center.
