Kingsborough Community College (KCC), a campus within the City University of New York (CUNY), seeks an Enrollment Systems and Engagement Specialist to support and advance the College’s use of the Slate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in support of enrollment management, student engagement, and institutional effectiveness.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Enrollment Systems and Engagement Specialist serves as a functional and technical expert for Slate CRM, ensuring that the system is effectively configured, maintained, and optimized to support recruitment, admissions, onboarding, and retention efforts. The role works collaboratively with Enrollment Management, Information Technology, Institutional Research, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs to align business processes with system capabilities and institutional goals.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Slate CRM environment, including user roles, permissions, and system configurations
- Create and manage forms, queries, workflows, portals, events, communications, and automation processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Recommend system and business processes improvements
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides
- Provide training and support to end users
- Ensure data integrity and monitor system performance
- Support integrations with CUNYfirst and third-party platforms
- Develop reports and dashboards to support enrollment strategy
- Serve as liaison with vendors including Technolutions and CRM consultants
- Stay current with CRM and enrollment technology trends
- Perform related duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education, particularly in enrollment management or admissions
- Demonstrated experience with Slate CRM
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Experience with SQL and reporting tools
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and related technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Administers enrollment processes and related functions.
- Collaborates with management team in the development of admission and enrollment goals, strategies, and initiatives; participates in planning enrollment events.
- Analyzes and interprets quantitative and qualitative student enrollment data to prepare reports for management.
- Recommends and implements improvements to existing technical systems and office operations.
- Serves as resource reference to interpret and comply with University and College enrollment policies.
- Prepares and reviews student communication materials.
- May coordinate aspects of student entry from point of allocation to include orientation, advisement, and collection of admitted student documents.
- May supervise office operations and/or department budget
- Performs related duties as assigned.
