Beer Dept Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities:

As a sales associate in our beer department your key responsibilities include receiving beer deliveries, making sure we got the correct product and stocking it in the correct locations. You will be responsible for rotating product and moving product between the loading area, stock room, store floor and coolers. You will be asked to help assemble six packs, create labels, and set up displays to optimize the organization and customer experience. There is never a dull moment as you will be assisting customers with any questions they have about the product or product location. You will be expected to work around the store to help maintain our high standards for store appearance and provide fast and friendly service to our customers. Including but not limited to breaking down boxes, maintaining clear aisles, cleaning up any trash or spills, and providing customers with carts/boxes to carry their product. Though it is not your primary duty, you will be trained on register and are expected to help ring customers if the front is overwhelmed.

· Computer skills: Microsoft excel, scanning files

Great if you have:

· Retail and customer service experience

· Sales associate or cashiering experience

· Knowledge of beer industry and product

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Motivation to advance in your career

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 9 hours

· Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead

· Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 160 pounds from ground to waist height

· Push/pull a full pallet of beer (up to 2000 lbs) on wheeled pallet jack

· Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
