Essential Job Functions
· Operates heavy equipment, machinery, and specialized equipment used in the operation and maintenance of Wastewater Collection System, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Water Distribution System, Stormwater System, Roadway system, Public Works Fleet, City Facilities, Sanitation Collection System, or vector control/forestry programs.
· Installs, reads, tests and repairs water meters, hydrant testing and maintenance of water distribution apparatuses.
· Maintains water and wastewater pumping and storage facilities.
· Operates and maintain wastewater treatment and collection facilities.
· Performs routine and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Assist with major equipment maintenance and repair as assigned.
· Performs routine maintenance, repair and construction of city streets, alleys and parking lots.
· Provides work zone safety while maintaining traffic flow.
· Installs and maintain traffic signage and markings.
· Performs snow removal and ice control.
· Performs on-call duties as assigned.
· Leads and enforces good housekeeping activities throughout the workplace.
· Schedules and maintain refuse accounts, ensure route and collection data are accurate.
· Performs other duties of similar nature or level as required.

Pay: From $25.81 per hour
