What are the responsibilities and job description for the FSRI - Senior Billing Representative, Finance position at The City of Providence?

Position Summary: Assists the Billing Manager with the organization’s third-party billing and accounts receivable processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical billing and credentialing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding systems (such as CPT, ICD-10), and billing practices.
- Extensive knowledge of third-party payor reimbursement systems, rules and regulations relating to A/R.
- Strong data analysis skills with Excel knowledge.
- Strong communicator with a high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated computer skills including third-party billing software.
- Ability to remain organized, and to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
- Preferred but not required - Welligent EHR/EMR Experience
- Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
