What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gymnastics Assistant: Summer and Fall position at The City of Plymouth?
Instruct and lead preschool and youth gymnastics programs in an exciting and safe atmosphere.
Preschool and Youth Programs: Lead, coach and spot advancing gymnasts with tumbling and gymnastic skills based on age level.
Preschool Program: Lead and spot preschool students with basic movement and tumbling skills.
Curriculum is provided with part-time positions.
Training provided prior to program start dates.
Summer
Camp hours: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Evening sessions: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Orientation for summer hiring is June 6, 2026
Fall
- Saturday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Plan, organize and direct activities for all ages in a recreation setting.
- Provide support, as needed, for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages.
- Follow staff policies and procedures.
- Ensure all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience of all participants.
- Must be 14 years old by program start date
- Previous experience with gymnastics or dance experience desired, but will train
- Previous experience working with youth desired.
Salary : $15 - $16
