Customer Service Specialist Apprentice - Flex

Employment Opportunity

This is a part-time, non-benefited position in the City's 311 Help Center providing working level customer service and routine technical support to the citizens and staff of the City of Orem. Customer Service Specialist - Apprentice Flex performs a variety of clerical and bookkeeping operations related to the maintenance of utility accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury operations, purchasing, city records, and/or payroll. This position also performs duties related to fingerprinting, landlord programs, and passports.

Qualifications

Graduation from high school or its equivalent, including or supplemented by courses in business, accounting and/or related fields. - Experience in bookkeeping, accounting or clerical duties. - For a full list of required knowledge, skills, and abilities please see our list of job descriptions/pay ranges. 3 Years Spanish speaking office experience preferred. Due to Federal Regulations for processing passports, candidates must show proof of U.S. Citizenship.

Pay and Benefits

Individual starting salary generally begins towards the bottom of the pay range.

Schedule

Variable hours (up to 28) aligned to Division's needs.
