The City of Dalton, Georgia is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Human Resources Generalist.
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a closely related field, along with a minimum of three (3) years of human resources management experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are preferred.
The Human Resources Generalist will assist the HR Director in all aspects of human resources management and will serve as the acting department head in the Director’s absence.
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The starting annual salary is $65,000, plus a comprehensive full-time benefits package.
