The Event Services Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing large events while serving as the primary on-site manager when senior leadership is absent. This role oversees all event operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional experience for clients, guests, and staff.
Key responsibilities include advancing events, preparing the facility for upcoming shows, coordinating staffing needs, directing communication during load-in and load-out, and maintaining the facility’s appearance and safety standards. The position also assists with pre-event financial estimates, post-event settlements, operational planning, emergency procedure reviews, and coordination with internal departments such as Finance, Security, Food & Beverage, and A/V.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a solid understanding of public-assembly facility operations, crowd management, customer service, supervision, and budgeting. Familiarity with safety regulations, facility use requirements, and industry terminology is highly valued. Flexibility with scheduling—including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays—is required.
