TITLE
Membership Director Milwaukee
ORGANIZATION
A fast growing member organization made up of successful conservative families of purpose who invest in developing grassroots community based infrastructure, inspire and support the families of its members to develop future leaders, and a renewed civic virtue toward a more purposeful engagement in America. The organization is already operating in other states and will scale nationally.
LOCATION
Remote (Frequent travel throughout Wisconsin)
REPORTING TO
The Executive Director
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (What You’ll Do)
Engage and recruit new member families throughout Wisconsin with a primary focus on the Milwaukee area including suggesting new opportunities for engagement toward membership growth.
Generate warm referrals by leveraging your own personal and professional networks along with our own / member’s networks.
Execute membership recruitment aligned with the organization growth plan and prioritized goals including utilizing data and tools provided to identify geographic and other areas for member growth and adjust ongoing as necessary.
Build and maintain the organization’s reputation as an industry leader including representing The Citizen Farmers at events, podcasts, dinners, and speaker series.
Meet daily with prospective new members (often during weekends or evenings).
Serve as the bridge between civic vision and personal purpose for families eager to contribute meaningfully.
Keep up to date on new information, trends and tools that may impact the innovation and success of the organization ongoing including your own professional development.
EXPERIENCE (Qualifications)
5 to 7 years strategic sales and/or non-profit development experience.
A demonstrated history of actively and independently seeking referrals, engaging in daily outreach and recruiting financial supporters to a cause.
A demonstrated history of independently develop a strategy around a goal and executing it.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES (Who You Are)
Must have integrity, and possess the ability to relate with and understand the
Citizen Farmer prospect.
Be outgoing, positive, honest and comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment with the ability to try new things.
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills are required with the ability to learn quickly, and be goal oriented.
Intelligent and resilient with outstanding ability to utilize data and related tools.
Possess a very strong work ethic, including evenings and weekends, and be a self starter and mission driven (aligned with CF conservative mission and strategic growth goals) and able to understand basic political and governmental concepts.
EDUCATION
Strongly prefer Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or University.
SALARY
The starting annual salary is $100,000 based on experience
CASH BONUS OPPORTUNITY
Up to 30%, based on individual performance goals with additional bonus possible for performance that surpasses expectations.
