This role supports the mission of The Citadel Graduate College by leading data operations, optimizing admissions workflows, and ensuring a seamless, service‑oriented experience for prospective students, faculty, and campus partne
rs.
Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admissions, the Associate Director serves as the operational and technical expert overseeing Slate CRM administration, data integrity, and process improvement across the full admissions cycle. In addition, this role is responsible for the follo
- wing:Leads the annual application launch; to include, testing, updating, config
- uringAnalyzes the graduate admissions workflows and business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery across recruitment, application processing, and enrollment operat
- ions.Will oversee releasing and managing admissions as determined by the admissions committee and academic depart
- mentsServe as the Graduate College's primary functional administrator for Slate, working in close collaboration with Graduate Admissions leadership and the central Slate administr
- ator.Creates and maintains Slate queries, reports, dashboards, and forms to support admissions trac
- king.Conduct regular audits of Graduate Admissions data and processes within Slate to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with established workf
- lows.Coordinates electronic and manual processing of application materials, including transcripts, test scores, recommendations, and supporting docum
- ents.Process deferrals, change-of-major requests, and other applicants record upd
- ates.Support graduate recruitment initiatives, including information sessions, open houses, and on- and off-campus recruitment events, as ne

ded.
Minimum Qualific
- ationsBachelor's degree req
- uired.1-3 years of relevant experience in graduate admissions operations, enrollment management, or higher education sy
- stems.At least one year of hands-on experience using Slate or other CRM tools in an admissions se
- tting.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data acc
- uracy.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborat
- ively.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applica
tions.
Preferred Qualific
- ations Experience with Ellucian Banner and
- Slate.At least one year of hands-on experience as a Slate adminis
- trator.Familiarity with building and maintaining forms, queries, and
- events.Experience with Slate Reader and the application review p
- rocess.Demonstrated proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and dashboard devel
- opment.Project management experience in a higher education or enrollment envir
onment.
