Salary: The pay range for this position is $65,000- $85,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
collaborate with Field investigators regarding investigation assignments and plans
build and maintain relationships with SIU investigators, Field Claims associates, HQ Claims associates and house counsel
develop and validate reports using appropriate analysis and visual aids
attend depositions and testify in court as required
interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
independently identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
document analysis performed and methods used
extract and validate accuracy and consistency of data across various data sources to ensure it is related to the same subject
use all available internal and external data sources as part of the investigative processes, including the claims system, policy systems, external data sources and all available investigative tools
Liaison with the intelligence and analysis function of outside groups, both public and private, whose mission includes the detection and deterrence of insurance fraud
Obtain and summarize claim files acquired from other insurers in support of open SIU
investigations, which includes medical records analysis
Coach, guide, and mentor SIU Analyst l associates regarding the use of internal and external databases
Be equipped with:

effective speaking and presentation skills
the ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
proficiency with external database tools such as TLO, Accurint and ISO
proficiency with social networking platforms and Internet research
proficiency with GIS mapping software such as ArcGIS or NearMap
the ability to adapt quickly to change
the ability to maintain own workflow and meet deadlines independently
determination to seek out efficiencies and innovation
the ability to identify and recognize red flags in data
mentoring, coaching, and leadership
Bring education and experience from:
minimum of an associate degree or commensurate work experience is required; bachelor's degree is preferred
course work in criminal justice, crime analysis, information systems, social science, geography, or related fields is preferred
Fraud Claims Law Specialist (FCLS) or IASIU Certified Insurance Fraud Analyst (CIFA) designation
Completion of the NICB Analyst l Academy or similar formal course
