Our Life Premium Accounting department seeks a supervisor. This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of accounting professionals while overseeing daily premium accounting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency and exceptional service. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Some departments at our Headquarters offer a hybrid work option that may vary depending on your role and responsibilities.

Starting pay: The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $31.25 per hour. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

  • provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to team members to achieve individual and departmental goals
  • train, develop and mentor associates while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • monitor team performance, productivity and quality standards to ensure accurate and timely results
  • conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to support professional growth
  • identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency
  • resolve complex issues and escalations while partnering with leadership on appropriate solutions
  • communicate department objectives, progress and results to management
  • manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • analyze operational data and reporting to support business decisions and department initiatives
  • use Microsoft® Excel to develop reports, track metrics, analyze trends and improve workflow visibility

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, formulas and spreadsheet management
  • the ability to leverage data and reporting to drive operational improvements and team performance

Bring education and experience from:

  • a high school diploma or equivalent (required); a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field (preferred)
  • at least two years of management, supervisory or team lead experience
  • experience in accounting, premium accounting, insurance operations, financial services or a related business environment
