Our Commercial Lines department is seeking candidates for a team assistant class beginning in June 2026. Team assistants support the underwriting team in serving agencies by processing tasks needed in the endorsement issuance process. Team assistants will also be responsible for maintaining overall quality and efficiency of work performed within their team. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 hourly. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and individual performance.

Be Ready To

• maintain an assigned territory to complete work assignments
• process e-CLAS endorsements to support agency requests whether work comp or package policies
• perform basic research
• enter motor vehicle reports, as needed
  
  

Be Equipped With

• working knowledge of e-CLAS manuals, including how to navigate and interpret them
• working knowledge of state rating manuals, workbench and EDM application
• the ability and willingness to work in a team setting
• maintaining a positive attitude
• making efficient use of time
• demonstrating an acceptable level of attention to detail
• the ability to develop positive relationships
• demonstrating adaptability to new processes and procedures
• the ability to collaborate and communicate with underwriters and associate underwriters
• applying problem solving and decision-making skills
• utilizing the appropriate communication method for the situation – email, phone, transaction notes, face-to-face, or virtual
