Contributes to the IT Support job family in a support capacity. Helps configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software. Performs a broader set of tasks to provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices. May assist in designing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems. Completes output (documents, analyses, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets. Works under own initiative, prioritizes own work, and meets agreed timescales. Work is subject to frequent review by more experienced professionals in Technical Support.

· Contributes to the IT Support job family in a support capacity.
· Responsible for the day to day performance and operation of both PC and LAN hardware and software.
· Helps configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software.
· Performs a broader set of tasks to provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
· May assist in designing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems.
· Completes output (documents, analyses, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets.
· Works under own initiative, prioritizes own work, and meets agreed timescales.
· The Technical Support Associate Analyst also must provide accurate, timely and creative solutions to end-user computer and network problems.
The Technical Support Associate Analyst adheres to standard IT practices and techniques and follows established escalation processes for more complex problems.
What you need to do the job:
· Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.

· Previous customer service experience preferred
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
· Possess in-depth knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role.
· Functions in complex environments with minimal direction.
· Solid individual performance while partnering with others.
· Works well through self-directed effort.
· Shares knowledge in area of expertise.
· May serve as a technical subject matter expert.
· May provide technical assistance to resolve operating issues.
· General knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, especially XP, Windows 7 and Microsoft Office
· General knowledge of Apple computers and operating systems.
· General knowledge of networking switches and data networks.
· General knowledge of IP telecommunications systems.
· General knowledge of Audio Visual Systems
Bonus points for these:
· Associates Degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
· 1-3 Years PC/LAN Technical support Experience
· Continued enhancement of Technical Skills through continuing education/seminars and interaction with other IT disciplines
