The Program Advisor is responsible supporting a wide range of supply chain related initiatives in technology, analytics, and reporting. This role will be responsible for conducting data analytics and research activities in order to develop and make recommendations for rebate initiatives. This role will work cross-functionally with other teams to drive the overall delivery and success of each these programs. This role will also establish internal and external facing product metric updates, helping craft product features, demos, business cases, and roadmaps. Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with areas such as Finance, Operations, Sales, Technology, and vendor partners.
Responsibilities:
Use appropriate tools to transform, clean up, and review data. Analyze data to clearly outline findings, derive accurate results and meaningful insights in the financial and rebate space. Take logical steps/initiatives to make any improvement on assigned tasks.
Serve as a business product owner for Supply Chain with the responsibility of delivering offerings that drive rebate optimization and process improvements.
Scope, research, investigate, and propose solutions to business problems that are within the space of the Supply Chain and PBM
Define and manage business cases, set product specifications, and work with technology to size, prioritize, design, create, iterate, and bring the final product to market with MVPs.
Collaborates with key stakeholders and manages their expectations regarding timing and delivery.
Proactively resolve upstream dependencies and resolve conflict effectively across teams.
Track performance indicators and KPIs relevant to the operations teams.
Maintain and own the technical roadmap of prioritized features.
Work with technology to maintain the product and a healthy backlog.
Create journey maps, product documentation, and change management for internal and external use.
Monitor and instrument products for business outcomes and tech product health.
Perform strategic planning and monitoring of the competitive landscape and of industry trends to identify areas of opportunity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
5-10 years of relevant work experience (product management, product development, or significant cross-functional project-based experience)
3 years of experience in the use of relational database concepts and applications, specifically use of MS Access, Teradata, SQL, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
Experience with SQL coding in data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis required.
Experience working with Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, including written, presentation, and documentation.
Advanced problem-solving skills with ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies.
Ability to work towards specific deliverables within an environment of tight deadlines.
Ability to manage complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions.
Knowledge of PBM, Supply Chain, Rebates, and/or healthcare industry preferred.
Strong knowledge and continued interest in the latest technology, analytics, reporting trends.
Demonstrated product management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
This is a hybrid role and will require the ability to work in-person three days per week.
