What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor (36644802) position at The Cigna Group?
This position is a temporary assignment. As a contractor, you’ll be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group or any subsidiaries of The Cigna Group.
Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Infrastructure matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Serves as the lead technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions. Leads the design, analysis, development and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving complex infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. May be involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve escalated infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise. Responsibilities may include risks assessments, partnering on capacity planning, budget forecasting, and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems. May serve as the primary contact for vendors. Technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex Infrastructure Engineering assignments.
Project Management And Execution Skills
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $65.00/hour-$75.00/hour

Project Management And Execution Skills
- Project Management experience with a keen focus on understanding and identifying stakeholder expectations and delivery timelines.
- Planning, organizing, and ensuring the assignments are done in a timely manner with smooth transition of quality content to the appropriate APM Intake teams.
- Collaborates across Infrastructure teams as needed to ensure Jira assignments and decomposition activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner.
- Experience with Jira would be key.
- High degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic / ambiguous environment.
- Proven skill at balancing technical knowledge with business possibility and acumen.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to apply critical thinking.
