What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Account Manager - MDLIVE - Hybrid position at The Cigna Group?
The Healthcare Account Manager will handle the day-to-day relationship with their book of business working to troubleshoot for clients and respond to various types of inquiries. This role is a very cross-functional opportunity where you will work our internal teams to find client solutions. You will handle reporting and analyze trends for your clients. This position is salaried (not commissioned) and will include other competitive benefits.
Responsibilities:
As the you will be the face of the company on a daily basis for your clients. In addition, you will:
Interact with internal operational stakeholders and Sales/Client Success Executives to support client strategy
Coordinate and lead client meetings on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
Have in depth knowledge of all account contract terms in assigned portfolio
Use critical thinking skills to proactively manage client issues
Execute on and track utilization strategies as agreed upon by Client Success/Sales and Marketing
Document and triage client-related issues/escalations
Escalate high priority items to direct manager and/or management within other parts of the organization
Track client specific metrics such as member activations, utilization, program savings
Identify opportunities to develop process improvement and subsequent implementation
Complete assigned tasks and projects according to appropriate timelines agreed upon with client and internal stakeholders. This can include assisting the MDLIVE implementation teams with client/group implementations.
Qualifications should include:
3-5 years Account Management experience, Healthcare experience preferred
BA/BS degree in Health Care, Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
Client/customer service experience
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, possess strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability that can win the confidence of individuals at all levels
Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions
Individual should possess strong analytical and process management skills and have a broad understanding of business strategy and operations
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to adapt to changing procedures, policies, and work environment
Strong critical thinking skills
Must be able to demonstrate integrity and a commitment to values
Ability to work onsite from a Cigna company office at least 50% of the time
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
