What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Management Strategy & Governance Advisor position at The Cigna Group?
Responsibilities:
Review, triage, and remediate Production Support incidents and requests (ServiceNow) in alignment with established service-level agreements (SLAs) and industry best practices.
Oversee and execute critical match and merge processes within the designated toolset to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Partner closely with Data Quality and Data Governance teams to align on standards, controls, and remediation strategies.
Advise and collaborate with Engineering teams to resolve complex data-related issues, including but not limited to data mappings, automotive logic and conditional rules, and code enhancements.
Execute and maintain Data Quality (DQ) reporting to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Develop and communicate future-state roadmaps, including strategic recommendations for migration to a new Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
Requirements:
Four or more years of experience in Data Strategy, Data Management, or a related discipline.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
