What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEMPORARY Boxer/Folder - Day Shift - Beehive Clothing SLC position at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

This position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. This position exists to ensure that the correct amounts and styles of garments are bagged, boxed, and ready for shipping. This is an entry-level individual contributor role.

This is a temporary position with a fixed term. Meaning, employment will conclude either on a specified end date or earlier if circumstances require. It is expected that the position will last for up to 6 months, with possible availability to move into a permanent role based on production needs, job performance, and position availability. See schedule below for hours

Day Shift Schedule:

M, T, W, Th, 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and 5:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday

Starting Pay :

$16.00 per hour

Places garments neatly in boxes. Counts to ensure correct number is there
Starts out working in one area with the goal to be able to consistently work in two
Resolves discrepancies in garment count so amount inside box matches label amount
May use pallet jack

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read labels and communicate effectively with others
Must have basic math skills with the ability to count accurately
Must be able to work at a high degree of efficiency as well as quality and be able to do repetitive movements throughout the shift
Most of the work is done while standing, stooping, or walking and requires good dexterity
Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English to understand safety instructions, training, and team communications. Candidates must be able to successfully complete interviews and assessments fully in English with no translation services provided in order to assess English proficiency.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to learn different garment style numbers to be able to meet production levels
