The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Division within the Finance and Records Department provides independent and unbiased financial and strategic analysis to support senior leadership decision-making. The FP&A Division partners with other departments to evaluate the financial implications of current and future initiatives and provide insight into organizational performance.
Individuals in this position must be highly qualified, able to perform at a high level under pressure, maintain strict confidentiality, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities
- Analyzes financial results to identify meaningful trends and support business performance management.
- Prepares clear, concise reporting and presentations for senior leaders.
- Leads the most complex analytical and modeling efforts.
- Conducts research and analysis on economic and financial trends and develops forecasts and scenario models to evaluate strategic initiatives, decisions, and risk exposures.
- Builds strong relationships across Church departments, collaborating effectively to obtain accurate information and provide clear financial insight.
- Contributes to defining the structure and content of reporting needs, including metrics and data visualizations.
- Communicates complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, statistics, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, accounting, auditing, business management, or financial research.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and ERP systems.
- A thorough knowledge of Church financial systems at both headquarters and international.
- Church employment experience is preferred.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills with strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and team development capabilities.
