What are the responsibilities and job description for the Backroom Operations Supervisor position at The Church Mouse Thrift Shop Inc?
- Supervise backroom staff and volunteers
- Coordinate donor relations and the movement of donated goods to appropriate departments for processing
- Oversee the processing of donated furniture and movement to the sales floor
- Coordinate the pickup and delivery processes according to schedule
- Oversee the maintenance of vehicles and lifts
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment following safety guidelines
- Oversee facilities maintenance, and make minor repairs
- Assist with lifting and/or moving heavy items - must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Manage trash ensuring trash and pass through items are removed expeditiously
