What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worship Ministry position at The Christian and Missionary Alliance - U.S. Church Ministries?
Campus Worship Associate
At ACF Church, we see our jobs as a calling. We are a staff of mutually broken people who are devoted to loving others into reconciliation with God. Our church is dedicated to bringing hope into dark places within our city, state, and world. We believe that life is short, the stakes are high, and it’s all about Jesus.
At ACF, our vision is to see it “In Alaska as in Heaven,” and our mission is to “Amplify the Grace of Jesus to the Churched, Unchurched, and Dechurched.”
Campus Worship Associate is more than just a vocalist or musician - they’re a shepherd who is as passionate about discipleship as they are about musical excellence. Throughout the week they will work with the Worship Pastor to strategize how best to lead the ER campus in a culture of worship.
The Worship Associate will also take primary responsibility for leading and develop our Youth Culture (YC) worship team – recruiting students into that worship ministry, pouring into their musical giftings and abilities, shepherding them spiritually and pastorally, and ultimately developing a hunger to experience and worship God amongst our student body generally.
This role exists to disciple and develop worship teams who are just as passionate about leading people to Jesus as they are about musical excellence - cultivating an authentic, Christ-centered worship culture, committed to worship and to ministry.
