What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of High School Ministry (Female) - Christ Community Church position at The Christian and Missionary Alliance - U.S. Church Ministries?
This role provides discipleship through investing in leaders of leaders, administrative leadership, and support in all things High School Ministry, in order to lead High School Ministry coaches, leaders, and students to become disciples of Jesus for kingdom impact. The role will especially focus on investing in female leaders and students.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, shepherd and oversee coaches and adult leaders (30%)
- Collaboration with parents and adjacent age divisions to enhance ministry effectiveness (20%)
- Organize and oversee high school trips, extra events, and Student Leadership Community (SLC) utilizing teams (20%)
- Support the Sunday night and Community Group experience (20%)
- Contact and counsel with students (10%)
Necessary Skills
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and in presentation
- Ability to disciple and relate to female leaders and students.
- Style of ministry is relationally driven and focused
- An understanding of high school culture in the Midwest
- A passion to infuse the ministry with an evangelistic atmosphere
- Self motivated, team player seeking excellence in all aspects of ministry
- Loves to have fun as a team and as part of the ministry
- A doctrinal alignment with the core beliefs of the Christian and Missionary Alliance
- Currently (or able to be) licensed and ordained/consecrated in the Christian and Missionary Alliance
- Bachelor’s degree desired (from an accredited bible college or seminary)
- Spiritual gifts in shepherding, administration, and exhortation desired, but not required
- Teaching is desired, but not required
Type of Position
- Full-time Salaried role (45-50 hours per week).
- Typical workdays are Sunday – Thursday
- Some evenings and schedule adjustments may be required based upon key events.
- Paid time off, insurance and retirement benefits.

- Team Oversight: High School Residents, Student Coaches and Community Group Leaders, Volunteer Teams (Welcome, Hospitality, Event)
- The duties of this position are conducted both in an indoor office environment and in the community offsite.
