- Develop materials for tutoring sessions/workshops
- Collaborate with others to determine tutoring needs/workshops
- Assist with the evaluation of tutoring sessions/workshops, as needed.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in the area in which they will be providing tutoring, i.e. nursing, math, statistics, biology, etc.,
- A master’s degree in one of the specified disciplines is highly desirable.
- College teaching experience
- NOTE: Candidates must demonstrate that related coursework and/or teaching experience – not clearly specified – is relevant to the work they will be conducting at the college.
- A minimum of one year of teaching experience, or one year of tutoring experience is required.
- Aptitude for, and commitment to helping students to learn
- Capability to comfortably work and supervise student in the tutoring environment
- Ability to demonstrate capability to collaborate with faculty from across divisions to ensure that the content of the tutoring is consistent with the material presented in class.
- The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate either a familiarity with, or willingness to learn about, issues pertaining contemporary teaching and learning strategies.
- Comfort with online learning environments is also a plus.
