What are the responsibilities and job description for the Functional & Integrative Medicine Physician position at The Christ Hospital Health Network?
Job Description
The Physician at AIM for Wellbeing is a board-certified or board-eligible clinician with a primary care foundation and a deep commitment to functional and integrative medicine. This provider delivers comprehensive, root-cause-driven medical care as the clinical anchor of a multidisciplinary integrative team — working in true partnership with chiropractors, acupuncturists, dietitians, health coaches, massage therapists, Rolfers, and energy healers to produce whole-person care outcomes that conventional medicine alone cannot achieve. The Physician brings clinical depth to the full spectrum of functional medicine diagnostics and therapeutics — from advanced laboratory interpretation and complex treatment planning to nutraceutical protocols, lifestyle medicine, and mind-body integration. This provider also serves as a clinical educator within the practice, participating in monthly interdisciplinary learning, mentoring learners, and contributing to AIM's research and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations using a functional medicine intake framework: full health history, illness timeline, antecedents, triggers, mediators, and systems review; document all findings in Cerbo EMR.
