The Chimney Sweep is hiring a reliable worker, part-time to start with the possibility of full-time hours. Must have a valid driver's license. We prefer someone over 21 with basic masonry skills. You will be running a crew of two including yourself and one helper You must have at least one year experience in the chimney field no exceptions . Responsibilities
- Assist in construction inspection and restoration tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction activities, including caulking and fabrication.
- Support carpentry work, including cabinet installation and flooring installation.
- Collaborate with team members on stucco applications and other finishing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of construction management principles is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers.
