Team Lead Ortho Operations (Front Desk) - SOMME STREET

Abra Dental is happy to announce we are looking for experienced Front Desk Candidates to Apply for Ortho Team Leads position in our Somme Street- Newark team!

We are looking for an enthusiastic outgoing individual to lead and supervisor the Ortho Front Desk Department.

The right candidate will have the following duties which include but are not limited to:

• Essential Duties:
  • Be model employee in accordance with company policies and work rules  
  • Patient First Mentality ALWAYS
  • Delegate and monitors team member tasks
  • Create and manage specialist schedules
  • Deliver warnings and corrective action plans
  • Make recommendations about promotions, demotions, hiring and firing to management
  • Help coordinate between administrative and clinical team to allow optimal patient experiences
  • Be aware of wait times and provider workflows
  • Know emergency protocols and act accordingly
  • Help develop standard operating procedures
  • Hold meeting with staff to review goals and issues
  • Attend meetings with management 
  • Contact appropriate people during an employee or patient incident (OSHA, Workman’s comp)
  • Responds and conveys Doctor needs and issues with management
  • Oversee training of new hires
  • Liaison between doctors and front desk
  • Fully understands Medicaid and PPO coverages and limitations
  • Fully understand accounts and where balances come from.
  • Monitoring reports to make sure recalls and outstanding treatment are current
  • Monitor ring central reports and activity
  • Making sure auto pay payments are going though if applicable. 
  • Close the day with regards to cash and credit card payments 
  • Help disseminate company polices 
  • Order- Rx, and office supplies.
  • Monitor fiscal/budget responsibility when applicable
  • Step into any Operations function in the dental office when needed
