What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider position at The Childrens Playroom?
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children in a fun and compassionate manner
- Ensure the safety of children at all times
- Implement creative activities to assist with child development
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Perform a variety of tasks, such as changing diapers, preparing and feeding meals, and overseeing play
- Check customers in and communicate details about the child's stay to parents when checking out
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with childcare or other related fields required
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build relationships with children and their parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Comfortable operating a computer and processing credit cards
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- CPR required within 90 days (company will pay for training)
Since 1999, we have been committed to providing excellent care to children six weeks through 12 years of age. Drop-in child care is different from a traditional daycare setting. We have regulars who come often, but there is a different mix of children every day.
We are looking for a caring and compassionate Child Care Provider who seeks to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. Some nights and weekend availability is a requirement for this job. Previous child care experience required.
