What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Assistant Teacher (Full time and Part time) position at The Childrens Place @ Macedonia Baptist Church?
We are a licensed preschool in a church setting looking to add an awesome Assistant Teacher to our team!
Responsibilities:
- Help children grow in the awareness of God’s love and strengthen Christian values through Bible stories, prayer and song.
- Assist children in the exploration of the world around them discovering science, nature, weather, animals and the 4 seasons, along with shapes, colors, letters and numbers.
- Facilitate the enjoyment of creative expression through music and rhythm, arts and crafts, and role play.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Skills:
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Understanding of safety and sanitation guidelines for classroom
- Knowledge of best practices and the ability to engage children with healthy mental and emotional development
- Interact with children in a positive and loving manner
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
