The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children, a strong background in early childhood education, be committed to creating a positive learning environment and be able to foster meaningful relationships with children, families and coworkers. As a teacher in this setting, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate educational activities, fostering social skills, and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families about children's progress and daily activities.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create and supportive and inclusive team environment.
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE preferred)
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting or educational setting
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be flexible, patient and compassionate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
