Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 pm.
Summary:
Responsible for appointment scheduling, responding to the nurse message line, office inventory management, facilities coordination, special projects and cross-functional support to maintain efficient daily practice operations and to maintain an efficient, friendly, work environment.
Essential:
- High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
- Associates degree or healthcare certification is a plus
- Three years of administrative and customer service in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Experience with EMR/EHR preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.
Other skills needed:
- Ability to work efficiently in a challenging environment while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Understanding insurance verification and referrals.
- Ability to work independently and with a group to support the needs of practice.
