Office Assistant II - Days/M-F - Pediatrics ENT

In Pediatric ENT Associates at COA Main - Arlington Building

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday - Friday,  8:00 a.m. - 4:30 pm.

Summary:

Responsible for appointment scheduling, responding to the nurse message line, office inventory management, facilities coordination, special projects and cross-functional support to maintain efficient daily practice operations and to maintain an efficient, friendly, work environment.

Essential:

• High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
• Associates degree or healthcare certification is a plus

• Three years of administrative and customer service in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Experience with EMR/EHR preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.

Other skills needed:

• Ability to work efficiently in a challenging environment while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. 
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. 
• Understanding insurance verification and referrals. 
• Ability to work independently and with a group to support the needs of practice.
