Summary:
As a Staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, in order to carry out the specific responsibilities outline below, the Vision of the Hospital: A BETTER CHILDHOOD FOR ALL CHILDREN, must be present. Other information:
Ability to use all anesthesia and inhalation therapy materials and techniques in current use, all anesthetic agents and associated drugs and all associated equipment used in Pediatric and Adult Anesthesia.
Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
- Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
- Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
* Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist ABON
* Basic Life Support
* Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Masters of Nurse Anesthesia in Nurse Anesthesia
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
We specialize in taking care of children during the peri-operative period undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. We cover general anesthesia cases in Benjamin Russell (including Interventional Radiology), Lowder, imaging, NICU, and emergency airways at Chilren's of Alabama. We are a level 1 trauma center and serve patients from every county in Alabama and nearly every state. Children's of Alabama is one of the largest pediatric medical facilities in the United States and as part of our anesthesia team, you'll be working alongside the best in the nation.
Schedule: M-Fri, Day Shift, 8-Hour Shifts
