Tutor/Case Manager provides structured educational assistance to our youth; residual study sessions, collaboration with school officials, resident grade analysis and, supporting our youths learning capacity. Staff will monitor resident’s grades, target activities and study habits to improve learning capacity and, provide feedback to residents and administration on academic outputs. The Tutor will also serve as a Case Manager for shelter residents and other residents as assigned.
Education: BA/BS degree in an appropriate human services, education, or health field. Applicants with an Associate’s degree with at least two years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children may be considered.
Experience: Two years of direct experience with severely emotionally disturbed residents in a health care or school setting is required for individuals with an Associate’s degree. Experience in instruction or direct care to emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.
