Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Direct Support Professional - Bronx Location - to join our team! In this vital role, you will support children and young individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism and intellectual disabilities, by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and implementing individualized care plans. Your bilingual skills will help foster effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients and their families, ensuring they feel understood and supported every step of the way.
Qualifications
- Bacherlors degree and / or experience in the medical field (Medical assistant, etc.)
- Proven experience workings with individuals who have developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children and families
- Compassionate attitude
