JOB TYPE: Full-time Family Interventionist Case Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field.
- At least 1 consecutive year of child welfare experience
- Experience working with children and families in social services context preferred
- Valid driver's license with properly registered and insured vehicle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Provide supportive services to families that are at high risk of losing custody of their children
2. Help families achieve goals by creating family case plans
3. Meeting with families identifying needs, locating resources, and supporting their growth
4. Maintain a case load of up to 12 families, providing support, and developing case plans
5. Travel throughout New Castle county, with occasional travel to Kent or Sussex Counties
6. Able to accommodate some evening/weekend work schedule
