Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the development of policy and procedures for the program. The Program Coordinator assigns work, develops, and communicates expected productivity levels to all staff; prepares and monitors program costs to ensure compliance with program budget.
Essential Functions:
Manages the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Program/Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Essential Functions:
- Ensures staff are appropriately recruited and subsequently trained to meet program requirements.
- Ensures that program productivity goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Participates in program planning. Identifies gaps in services and programs and makes recommendations for meeting community needs.
- Create/Update Program documents and forms.
- Publicizes program and acts as a representative to internal and external stakeholders.
- Addresses the special needs of each group served, and assists in making reasonable accommodations for the hearing impaired, physically challenged or any other disability.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, or related field.
- Bilingual in one or more of the following: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali and others, may be required depending on client needs.
- 2 years’ running a school-based program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently.
- Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines and multi-task.
- Master’s Degree in Education, Social Work or other related field.
